Creationisms

I'm no expert on the subject, but there are many views on how to read the creation accounts in the book of Genesis. Without consulting any sources I am aware of these:

1. Literal 6 x 24hr day, young-earth creationism.

2. Old earth creationsim.

3. Gap theory.

4. Theistic evolution.

5. The Framework hypothesis.

6. Special/progressive creationism.

7. ANE (Ancient Near East) polemic view.

There are probably many others, as well as nuances with each of those views which create sub-groups even in these. It gets a tad complicated.

Secondly, old earth creationism. Although the view given here seems to more closely relate to Special/progressive creationism (which is a sub-set of the old earth view):

I find this whole topic fascinating, and some of its proponents are even more interesting!
